वार्ता शुरू करते समय हमारे प्रधानमंत्री ने उल्लेख किया कि, इंडोनेशिया की यह पहली यात्रा, जो आसियान क्षेत्र में सबसे बड़ा देश है, भारत और इंडोनेशिया बहुत करीब आए है, परयह केवल हमारे समुद्री पड़ोसी ही नहीं बल्कि प्राचीन संपर्क के साथ हमारा निकटतम पड़ोसी है, इस संबंध ने नई ताकत हासिल की है।
